DORDOGNE has a rich array of historic monuments, a testimony of the architectural evolution through the ages.
CORREZE is located at the foot of Massif Central in the Dordogne valley. The region is well known for its mediaeval heritage and the diversity of its landscape.

Four colours for four areas forming the one and only Perigord.
* LE PERIGORD VERT (Green Perigord):
The northern part of Perigord is a green gem, hilly and crisscrossed with streams. This is where you will also find the Perigord-Limousin National Park.
* LE PERIGORD BLANC (White Perigord):
Located in the centre of the area, this is mostly a limestone plateau with large meadows, with rivers Auvezere and Isle running through it.
* LE PERIGORD NOIR (Black Perigord):
This part of Perigord owes its name to the dark colour of oaktree leaves, it is also famous for its landscapes, prehistoric sites, mediaeval villages and castles hanging to the edge of cliffs. Come and visit Lascaux, Montignac, Sarlat...
* LE PERIGORD ROUGE (Red Perigord):
The Perigord of Vineyards (hence the colour...) located towards the mouth of river Dordogne; come and enjoy this newly established wine country.
