Portugal is one big celebration all year round and invites you to join the dance and go wild to the rhythm of traditional music or relax to the melodious sounds of melancholic fados. Halfway between Lisbon and Oporto, the "Costa da Prata" stretches along 200km of hilly countryside with gold sandy beaches dipping in the Atlantic ocean.
An invitation to come and discover its many national heritage monuments located in a variety of colourful landscapes, with fine country footpaths. Churches and monasteries made of carved stone in the purest Gothic style, the Romanesque cathedral of Coimba, the cloisters of Santa Cruz Church (also in Coimba)...all of which demonstrate the wealth of this corner of Portugal.
The whole country is known for its warm welcome and Costa da Prata is no stranger to it, its traditional cuisine is also one of the highlights as well as the activities it has to offer.
