LA PLAGNE is a collection of resorts and villages at assorted altitudes, each with its own individual charm.
Aime 2000 (2100m): the highest and most original of the La Plagne collection of resorts, and very child-friendly. Plagne Villages/Plagne Soleil (2050m): 2 resorts 400m apart, located in heart of the domain and with residences at the foot of the slopes. Belle Plagne (2050m): this pedestrianised resort at the foot of the Bellecote cable car offers visitors a charming blend of modernity and tradition. Plagne Montalbert (1350m): this small, convivial village offers numerous activities for skiers and non-skiers alike. Plagne Lauze (1800m): one of the domain's lower resorts.
CHILDREN FOR CHILDREN: Plagne 1800: Snow kindergarten suitable for children aged 4 years and over. Aime 2000: "Les Lutins" creche for children aged 2-6 (inclusive). Plagne Village: ESF snow kindergarten for children aged 3-5 years (inclusive). Plagne Montalbert: ESF creche for children aged 18 months-6 years. For all children aged 3 years and over wishing to learn to ski, the ESF French Ski School offers lessons.
OTHER ACTIVITIES The La Plagne ski domain offers 225km of alpine ski slopes served by 111 ski lifts. Domaine La Plagne 6 day lift pass prices (08/09 prices): 203 euros/adults, 152.50 euros/children aged 6-13 years (inclusive) and seniors aged 65-71 years (inclusive). Children under 6 years free. The Paradiski domain (La Plagne and Les Arcs) is also accessible from La Plagne and offers 425km of slopes.
Cross country skiing : length of cross country track 15 Km La Plagne offers 15km of cross-country/off-piste skiing, all accessible free of charge from Bellecote, Belle Plagne and Plagne Villages.
PRACTICAL INFORMATION The resort is easily accessible by bus or taxi from the train station in Aime (between 15 and 20km, depending on exact resort), Chambery (115km), Geneva (150km) and Lyon (190km) airports. The Domaine Paradiski was created by linking the ski domains of Les Arcs and La Plagne, the French Alps now benefit from an extensive skiing area making it one of the largest ski domains in the world. Access to 425km of runs allowing skiers of all levels to reach new heights. This has also opened up the access to the back-door resorts of Montchavin/Les Coches and Peisey-Vallandry with quick links. Domain Paradiski Total pistes: 12 green, 132 blue, 61 red, 34 black and 2 snowparks. Two 2 skiable glaciers (La Chaupe in La Plagne Bellecôte and Le Varet in Les Arcs) as well as some of the highest peaks (Bellecôte - 3416m and Aiguille Rouge - 3226m).
