Located 17km from Valloire between the Ecrin and Vanoise mountains, Valmeinier is divided into two centres: the traditional village located at 1500m altitude and the ski resort, located at 1800m altitude and directly at the foot of the slopes.
CHILDREN The "La Galipette" kids club and nursery is suitable for children aged between 3 months and 8 years inclusive. The ESF French Ski School offers a snow kindergarten, ideal for children aged 3 years and over.
OTHER ACTIVITIES Valmeinier shares 150km of slopes with Valloire, it's neighbouring resort. These are served by 33 ski lifts, 166 snow canons and a snowpark (in Valloire). 6 day lift pass prices: 153 euros/adult, 138 euros/children aged 10-14 years and senior citizens aged 60-74 years (inclusive), 122 euros/children aged 6-9 years (inclusive), free for children under 6 years.
